River Clean-Up, Fly Fishing & Casting Demo With Tenkara USA
Eben G Fine Park @ the gazebo shelter
101 Arapahoe Ave, Boulder, CO 80302
Saturday, 10/6 8:30 a.m.–11:30 a.m.
Connect with our watershed in a deeper way: through the simple acts of care and conscious use. During the river cleanup, you’ll gain a deeper appreciation of human impact on our environment, and gather knowledge of ripples and critters that will inform your fly fishing.
After, learn the simple beauty of Tenkara USA with a fly fishing casting demo. If you have a fishing license, you can take your skills to the stream! Without a license, you can demo the beautiful telescoping Tenkara USA rods and practice honing your casting skills.
Fishing licenses can be purchased ahead of time online at: cpwshop, or in person at McGuckin’s hardware: 2525 Arapahoe Ave, Boulder, CO 80302 or Rocky Mountain Anglers: 1904 Arapahoe Ave, Boulder, CO 80302
